Straighter Teeth in Six Months

by regencyfa_wp, 0 comments

We don’t think you should have to wait up to two years for straighter teeth if you don’t have to and we also don’t think you should have to wear metal brackets and wires if you don’t want to….with that in mind we offer a range of orthodontic brace solutions at our Cheltenham dental practice, and this includes the popular Six Month Smiles.

Sixth Month Smiles

Six Month Smiles  is an orthodontic system for adults who have crooked, spaced or misaligned teeth which use clear brackets and tooth coloured wires to gently, yet effectively, move teeth in to a more desirable position.  The braces are hardly visible and the unique way in which they move teeth means treatment times are an average of just 6 months!

After an initial consultation to make sure you are suitable for the treatment, upon your return appointment your braces will be fitted.  It takes about an hour and we’ll talk you through how to care for your braces and teeth during the treatment.

After a short time your teeth begin moving.  You’ll need some return visits to the practice to adjust your braces so they continue to move your teeth….just until they are in the perfect spot.

After a few months, as few as 6 in most cases, your braces can be removed and your new, straighter more attractive smile revealed.

Because treatment times are dramatically reduced, the overall cost versus other braces is also significantly less.

Once treatment has been completed you will need to wear a retainer (usually at night) to prevent your teeth from becoming crooked again, and this is usual with all orthodontic treatment.

If you would like to see if Six Month Smiles would work for your smile simply contact us here and book a no obligation orthodontic treatment consultation today!
